Enjoy Discounted Admission Every Tuesday Through February

Every Tuesday through the end of February is “Two Buck” Tuesday at the Abilene Zoo. Every guest three years old and over are admitted for just $2.00 each! The animals are more active during the cooler weather so take advantage of this promotion and come on out and enjoy the zoo.

Tickle Someone Pink This Valentine's Day!

The Abilene Zoo is offering you a special opportunity to tickle someone pink this Valentines Day and adopt a flamingo.  Each $35 adoption comes with a plush flamingo, a live pink rose, a flamingo photo card for you to personalize and a flamingo fact sheet all assembled in a Valentine's gift bag.  Quantities are limited so order yours today by calling 325-676-6451. Deadline to order is February 10^th and the adoption packages will be available for pick up on February 13^th and 14^th.

Tour the Zoo on the Safari Express!
 
Hop aboard the Safari Express train, a new and fun experience for our  visitors!  The train departs from the entry plaza and takes passengers on a round trip tour of the zoo!  Tickets are $2.00 per person, children 2 years of age and under ride free!  The Safari Express runs weekends and holidays from 10:00am – 3:30pm.

Take flight to the Zoo and see the Bird Gardens!
 
Created in house by the zoo staff and volunteers, these new exhibits are home to a variety of native bird species including road runners, burrowing owls and the endangered Attwater’s prairie chicken. Benches are provided for guests to just sit back and relax among the sites and sounds of the avian inhabitants.
